Sam Wynn

Producer, BBC Studios | Class of 2009

Sam is a Producer at BBC Studios of the iconic ‘Later….with Jools Holland’ show following three years research at BBC which took her to Glastonbury, The Brit Awards and The Queens Birthday Party Concert amongst other equally exciting events. Prior to working at BBC Studios, Sam was a producer, presenter and booker at Soho Radio for six years.

” The TV industry is one of the toughest to get into and it took me a couple of years after graduating from university to catch my break but in 2015 I got a job as a Runner in the Music TV department at the BBC. Since then I have worked my way up through the ranks through hard work, determination, good communication and networking and I am now a freelance Assistant Producer having worked on a variety of programmes including BBC 2’s flagship music show Later… with Jools Holland, the coverage of Glastonbury Festival and the BRIT Awards for ITV. My time at WGHS taught me to be confident in my abilities, to aim high and believe you can achieve anything you want if you put your mind to it. It was that confidence instilled in me for 7 years of my life that set me up to work in a competitive industry but one that offers incredible opportunities and is fun, challenging and inspiring in equal measure.”
