This represents the second-highest proportion of top grades in the past decade, excluding the COVID-adjusted years of 2020\u201322, and is a testament to the hard work and ambition of this year group.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"763\" data-end=\"849\">Special congratulations go to the five boys who achieved three or more A*s:<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"852\" data-end=\"875\">Ashton achieved 4 A* Grades.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JC250814_128-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p data-start=\"878\" data-end=\"896\">Akondu, Faaris and Kieran achieved A*A*A*A.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JC250814_189-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JC250814_156-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/Ioo50EIR-1.png\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p data-start=\"948\" data-end=\"973\">Yaameen also achieved 3 A* Grades.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/xjhF5XgN-2.png\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p data-start=\"975\" data-end=\"1065\">In addition, 28 boys achieved straight A\/A grades* - a remarkable achievement.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1538\">Overall, 75% of grades were A*-B.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1538\">Beyond the statistics, the boys have been an exceptional year group \u2013 academically driven, committed to school life, and exemplary role models for younger pupils. We congratulate them all on their achievements and wish them every success as they move on to the next stage of their education.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"1067\" data-end=\"1538\">Our accomplished students include:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Faaris, a 1st Team star hockey player and Deputy Head Boy, achieved A* grades in Physics, Maths and Further Maths, with A grades in Biology and EPQ, to secure a place to read Physics at Bath University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Yaameen secured A* grades in Physics, Maths and DT and he will be studying Mechanical Engineering at UCL<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kieran achieved A* grades in Biology, Maths and Physics, with A grades in Chemistry and EPQ, to secure a place to study Medicine at Manchester University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Daniel achieved A* grades in Maths and Physics, with an A in Further Maths, and will be studying Maths at Durham University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cricketer Jamie achieved A* in Economics, with A grades in PE and Business. He will be taking up a place on the Flying Start Finance and Accounting degree apprenticeship at Newcastle University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Haris achieved A* grades in Maths and Further Maths, with A Grades in Biology, Chemistry and the EPQ, to secure his place to study Maths at Edinburgh<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dom achieved an A* grade in DT, with A grades in Maths, Physics and the EPQ and he will be studying Engineering at Bath University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Deputy Head Boy Imnan, who joined the school in the Sixth Form, achieved A* grades in Maths and Chemistry, with an A in Biology, to secure a place to read medicine at Leeds University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Peter scored A grades in Chemistry, Biology and Classics to secure his place to read Social Anthropology at Manchester University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Head Boy Chester scored A* grades in Biology and Politics, with A grades in Chemistry and the EPQ, to secure his place to read Medicine at Nottingham University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Deputy Head Boy Fergus scored A* grades in Maths and Physics, with A grades in Chemistry and Further Maths, and he will be studying Aerospace Engineering at Bath University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Deputy Head Boy and accomplished drummer Akondu secured A* grades in Biology, Chemistry and Music, with A grades in Maths and the EPQ, to secure his place to read Medicine at St Andrews University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ben achieved A* grades in Computer Science and Maths, with A grades in Spanish and the EPQ, to secure his place to study Computer Science at Bristol University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ahmed secured an A* grade in Art, with A grades in Maths and Physics, and he will be studying Mechanical Engineering at Edinburgh University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Talented musician Josh achieved an A* in Politics, with A grades in Music, German and the EPQ, to secure his place to study Politics and International Relations at Durham University<\/span><\/li>\r\n \t<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Top academic Ashton scored an incredible full set of A* grades in Maths, Economics, History, Chemistry and the EPQ.
