The boys\u2019 results are well deserved, coming in the context of downward pressure on the numbers of top grades awarded nationally and following disruption to their secondary education. The boys are very well set to thrive in their future studies in the Sixth Form.\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JC240822066-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stand out performances included Shiraz B, Thomas G, Joseph G, Matthew H-B, James M, Harry M, Thomas R and Oscar S, who achieved straight 9-8 grades (formerly straight A*s), and 22 boys achieved straight 9-7s. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">47<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> pupils were awarded at least one of those coveted Grade 9s. And, across the full range of ability we have at QEGS, pupils achieved results better than their benchmark expectations.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JC240822055-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Thomas must be congratulated for his exceptional results of 11 grade 9s and an A* in his HPQ. He is now looking forward to his A Level studies at QEGS.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JC240822050-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Daniel has achieved outstanding results, including 8 grades in the 8-9 range.
