The food is very tasty as well!\r\n\r\n<strong>Why did you want to become a member of the Head Boy team?<\/strong> So that the younger boys can\r\nhave someone to look up to and to make the school a better place.\r\n\r\n<strong>What have you enjoyed about being a member of the Head Boy team?<\/strong> The chances I have got\r\nto partake in all the events such as the ladies\u2019 lunch and most recently we have been to have lunch\r\nat the Pre Prep. I also got to read In Flanders Fields at the Remembrance Day assembly.\r\n\r\n<strong>What are you looking forward to doing as a member of the Head Boy team?<\/strong> The pizza at the\r\nend of the year. And to do my speech on speech day too!\r\n\r\n<strong>What advice would you give to pupils joining the school?<\/strong> Don't be scared and have a go at all\r\nthe opportunities and clubs. I\u2019d also tell them to be the best version of themselves and to try hard\r\nevery day.\r\n\r\n<strong>Ambition for the future:<\/strong> To be a cook in a popular restaurant. And to visit Tokyo or just Japan in\r\ngeneral.\r\n\r\n________________________________________________________________________\r\n\r\n<em><strong>Charlie<\/strong><\/em>\r\n\r\n<em>Head Boy for Spring Term<\/em>\r\n\r\nHouse: Bentley\r\n\r\nFavourite lesson: Games\r\n\r\nSpecial talent: Playing Sport.\r\n\r\nFavourite thing about QEGS: My favourite thing about QEGS is the teachers. They are fun,\r\ninspiring and helpful and make school the special place it is. My friends are also amazing and we\r\nhave had such a great time together at Junior School.\r\n\r\nWhy did you want to become a member of the Head Boy team? I wanted to become a member of the Head Boy team because I wanted to be a role model for the\r\nyounger boys in school. I also wanted to challenge myself and have a go at things I haven\u2019t done before such as speaking in public and representing our school at more formal events.\r\n\r\nWhat have you enjoyed about being a member of the Head Boy team? I have enjoyed taking part in extra curricular activities such as meeting up with the head boys and\r\ngirls from WGHS and Pre Prep as well as attending the Yorkshire Children\u2019s Charity Ladies\u2019 Lunch where we helped to raise money. I also felt very proud reading \u2018For the Fallen\u2019 in our Remembrance Day Assembly.\r\n\r\nWhat are you looking forward to doing as a member of the Head Boy team? I am looking forward to Speech Day in July and giving my head boy speech! I think I\u2019d better start\r\nworking on it soon \ud83d\ude42\r\n\r\nWhat advice would you give to pupils joining the school? I would tell future pupils to have a go at everything they can and make the most of the opportunities\r\nthey are given. I\u2019d also tell them to make sure they are a good friend to others and to try their best everyday.\r\n\r\nAmbition for the future: My dream for the future is to be a professional sportsman (rugby or football!) but if that doesn\u2019t work\r\nout then I hope to either be a sports coach, an architect or a businessman.\r\n\r\nAnything else you would like to say\u2026? I think QEGS is the best school and I have loved every day I have spent here. I have been able to\r\nexperience and try so many different (and unexpected!) things, from meeting Alpaca\u2019s during\r\nscience week to learning to abseil at Plas Y Brenin, the variety of things I have been able to try has\r\nbeen brilliant.\r\n\r\n_________________________________________________________________________________________\r\n\r\n<em><strong>Olly<\/strong><\/em>\r\n\r\n<em>Head Boy for the Summer Term<\/em>\r\n\r\n<strong>House:<\/strong> Savile\r\n\r\n<strong>Favourite lesson:<\/strong> DT\r\n\r\n<strong>Special talent:<\/strong> Lego building\r\n\r\n<strong>Favourite thing about QEGS:<\/strong> I love the variety of different activities and fun things that we get to\r\ndo together like the bushcraft trip and the vast array of opportunities given to us.\r\n\r\n<strong>Why did you want to become a member of the Head Boy team?<\/strong> I really wanted to help the children at QEGS by taking on a new and challenging role in the school's\r\nleadership team.\r\n\r\n<strong>What have you enjoyed about being a member of the Head Boy team?<\/strong> I really enjoyed helping with the Yorkshire Children's Charity event called The Ladies\u2019 Lunch held at\r\nCapri at the Vine.
