Ayan S, a standout in the KS3 category, was honoured with the Spirit of Normandy Trust Young Historian of the Year award, a testament to his dedication and insightful research. This distinction was personally bestowed by the Chairman of the Trust, who made a special visit to the school this week.\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/IMG_5517-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\nNot to be outdone, Asim S earned recognition in the KS4 category, receiving the Historical Association\u2019s Young Historian of the Year award for his exemplary work on WW1. His efforts, along with Ayan's, have garnered them the privilege of having their essays featured in the esteemed national publication, The Historian. Additionally, Christopher B's entry on the intriguing topic of Wakefield's dual train stations received a commendable mention in the KS4 Local Historian of the Year competition. James M's essay on WW2 also garnered well-deserved recognition for its insightful perspective.\r\n\r\nKaleb P, despite not clinching victory in the KS3 Local Historian of the Year category, managed to leave an indelible mark.
