Rob's outstanding achievements include securing 4 A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_042.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\nRohan will be going to Imperial College, London to study Maths &amp; Computer Science. He has gained 5 A* grades in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science, a distinction in the Advanced Extension Award in Maths and a Grade 2 in STEP Maths.\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_190.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brian will be going to study Medicine at King's College London, having attained 3 A* grades in Maths, Biology and Chemistry.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jvan will <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">be going to University College London to study Mathematics, having attained 4 A* grades in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics.<\/span>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_074.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Following in the footsteps of his hero Brian Cox, Max will be studying Physics at Manchester - he is justifiably proud of his 2 A* grades and 2 A grades in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and French.<\/p>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Having joined us from Hong Kong in the Sixth Form, Perry has won a place at York University to study Computer Science, with A levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Deputy Head boy Jihan is set to take the first steps on an exciting career ahead, heading to study Medicine at Bristol with <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">2 A*s and 1 A grade in Biology, Chemistry and Maths.<\/span>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_145.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Saifullah will be going to Bristol to study Medicine, having attained 4 A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics.<\/span>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_110.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Akshayan achieved A*s in Biology and Chemistry and will be studying Medicine at Leeds alongside Balram who got his three A grades and secured a place from the waiting list.<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_091.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Jack will be going to Newcastle to study Dentistry, one of 13 students heading to the North East, a perennial favourite of successive QEGS cohorts.<\/span>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_115.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Having achieved A*AA, and a B in his EPQ, Aadam will be going to Loughborough University to study <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mathematics and Sport Science.<\/span>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_082.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fin will be studying Economics at Durham after securing an A* in Economics and As in Maths and Physics.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Three boys will be studying Aerospace Engineering at university. With A*s in Maths and Physics, Sam is heading to Manchester, Josh, with 3 As in Maths, Physics and PE, heads to Nottingham, and Lucas heads to Sheffield with an A in Economics and Bs in Maths and Physics.<\/span>\r\n<div class=\"align-none\">\r\n\r\n<img src=\"https:\/\/assets.wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/JCPR230817_226.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\r\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">With 2 A*s in History and Politics alongside an A in Classical Civilisation, Will is heading to Durham to read History.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Overall, 30% of boys achieved the top A* and A grades in three or more subjects. The vast majority of boys will go on to study at their first-choice university, attaining places on the most prestigious courses, including Medicine, Law, Veterinary Medicine, Dentistry, Architecture, English Literature, Mathematics, Journalism, Geography, Engineering, History, Modern Languages, Economics, Physics, Rural Enterprise &amp; Land Management, and Business Management. We also have boys beginning apprenticeships in the Financial, Retail and Engineering sectors, following rigorous and highly competitive selection processes.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dr Richard Brookes, Head, said:<\/span>\r\n<blockquote><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cWell done to all our boys on an excellent set of A-level results. They have risen admirably to the challenge of their first set of public exams, having had their GCSE exams cancelled due to Covid in 2021. Throughout their time at QEGS they have shown tremendous dedication and academic aspiration. Moreover, they have made a super contribution to all areas of school life and always shown great care for each other. I congratulate them, and I look forward to staying in touch with them as they join our alumni community.
