With bright and warm days in the run up to the event, it was firm underfoot. It was also a good day for spectators and there were a large number of parents present to view the races.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Year 3 boys and girls\u00a0 were up first. Charlie Worth raced extremely well and held on for a well-deserved win, he was followed by Toby Rigby in second place and Arthur Ramsden Clark in the bronze medal position.<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Year 4 boys were up next.\u00a0 Teddy Bentham ran strongly and finished first, winning the gold medal. Kasper Bevan was second, winning the silver medal, with Rahmin Ghouri being awarded the bronze medal for finishing third.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the Year 5 race, Henry Roberts won the gold medal. Preston Goodiar ran well finishing second and Rehmat Ghouri\u00a0 finished strongly in third.\u00a0<\/span>\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Finally we came to the Year 6 boys. It was the same two boys who competed for 1st and 2nd place, but it was a reversal of the Y5 results. Will Taylor out sprinted Elias Locking in the last 200m to take the victory. Elias ran very well finishing in second.
