Staff, students and guests of honour, who included the brother of Old Savilian Captain Martin Driver who died after being wounded in Afghanistan, were united in a minute\u2019s silence to honour those who have died in war.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/wgsf.org.uk\/qegs\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2021\/11\/Screenshot-2021-11-12-at-11.23.55.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"828\" height=\"464\" \/>\r\n\r\nEarlier that day, the head of sixth form, Mr Rees, had delivered a very touching assembly which focused on the effects of conflict around the globe and it was clear that those who attended the service were engaged in their own act of remembrance.
