Annual Heads' Tea Party

Every year, pupils who have joined us in Year 7 from schools outside the Foundation invite their old Headteachers, Deputy Heads or Year 6 teachers into school to see how they've been getting on at QEGS. The boys take their previous teachers on a tour of the school and show them the work they've been doing since September, before having afternoon tea at WGHS.

The event is always well attended and this year we had staff joining us from; Beeston Hill St Luke’s C of E Primary School, Carr Green Primary School, Greenhill Primary School, Holy Trinity C of E Primary School, Horbury Primary Academy, Rastrick Preparatory School, Rothwell St Mary’s Catholic Primary School, St John's CE VA Junior and Infant School, The Ellis C of E Primary School and West Bretton Junior and Infant School.

The pupils and staff all had a fabulous afternoon reminiscing and talking about the boys' plans for the future, whilst enjoying cakes and tea served by our very helpful Year 10 girls!
