MasterChef 2018

Year on year our boys seem to get better and better in our annual MasterChef competition, and this year was no exception!

The theme Mrs Spawforth set for this year was vegetarian. After numerous heats, yesterday was the final! Mrs Gray and Mr Craig were the lucky judges - they made sure to leave lots of room after breakfast!

The boys taking part in the Year 6 MasterChef final this year were Sam Mackenzie, Kieran Sak, Alexander Shepherd and Haider Ali. All the dishes were astounding and consisted of; risotto verde, hoisin Quorn, chilli paneer with basmati rice and mushroom linguine with homemade dough balls and garlic butter. Each of the boys did extrememly well and astounded both Mrs Gray and Mr Craig with their culinary skills at such a young age! However, it was Kieran Sak's hoisin Quorn with chilli flakes and star anise rice that won the coveted MasterChef plate this year!

Well done to all the boys who entered and congratulations to Kieran!
