Nursery Rhymes!

This week children will be learning all about Nursery Rhymes!

The Nursery children will be learning different rhymes every week, which they can then practise at home.

To make sure all the children understand the rhyme, they will learn through play, based on the days rhyme.

As todays rhyme was 'Miss Polly had a Dolly', there was a doctors surgery set up in our role play area to look after all of their dollies!

Once the children have learnt all the rhymes they will be given a certificate.

Week one: Hickory, Dickory Dock, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Incy Wincy Spider and Little Miss Muffet.

Week two: Jack and Jill, The 3 Blind Mice, Hey Diddle Diddle, Mary Had A Little Lamb and Mary Mary Quite Contrary.

Week three: Jack be Nimble, I'm a Little Teapot, Little Jack Horner, The Grand Old Duke of York, and Sing a Song of Sixpence.
