'The Wakefield Grammar School Foundation Archives exist to preserve archival material (written documents, photographs, artefacts, memorabilia etc.) relating to the history of the Foundation schools from their earliest days to the present. It seeks to catalogue, conserve and store the items and to make as much material as possible available for academic research and family enquiries’
The Archive is available to the school community as an educational and administrative resource. We also welcome research enquiries from the general public via email or post. Visits are by arrangement with the Archivist. Access to the Archive is at the discretion of the Foundation and certain records are closed for a period of time due to confidentiality and Data Protection legislation.
We would be delighted to accept any items which will enrich our collection.
