QEGS Junior School was inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) on 10 - 13 November 2015. The ISI Inspection regime has evolved significantly over recent years and allows for an exhaustive assessment of the schools inspected.
The School was deemed “Excellent” in all the areas assessed, noting the “extremely high” quality of curriculum provision and excellent progress against national expectations.
The commentary highlights the quality of teaching and how well the boys develop as independent and thoughtful learners. The value and quality of the extra-curricular provision is stressed, as is the quality of pastoral care.
It is evident that Mrs Gray and her staff have created a school which is remarkably well attuned to the learning needs of boys and which prepares them well for their future learning.
